Our history.

In 1963, Bill, a flooring installer, and his wife Dorothy started Eberhard Floor Covering Inc., a modest 1000 square foot showroom. Together, they poured their hearts into every aspect of the business, from sales to installations, laying the foundation for what would become a cornerstone of the Middletown, NJ community.

Nine years later, Bill and Dorothy expanded their enterprise, acquiring the property next store and built a 4000 square foot showroom that stands proudly today. Even as their family grew, with three children joining the ranks, the Eberhard’s remained steadfast in their pursuit of service and craftsmanship.

Bill unfortunately passed too soon, but Dorothy, alongside her dedicated children, carries forth the Eberhard tradition. At Eberhard Carpet One, we take immense pride in our status as a locally owned and operated establishment, serving as a beacon of integrity and reliability in an ever-evolving community.

With a legacy spanning over six decades, our commitment to customer satisfaction has remained unwavering.
